16:9 –
The f2.3 version of this lens is slightly rarer and more desirable as a taking lens, being half a stop faster than the usual f2.8. It is no sharper than the standard Isco/Rollei Projar triplet family – in fact, it’s slightly softer – but so are defocused areas, which are more pleasingly rendered. Colour and contrast are typically underwhelming. Flaring is prominent. The image circle covers GFX comfortably, probably with room for tilt movements. On 35mm, at least 8mm of shift is possible in addition to tilt.
