Seen in two versions with presumably identical construction, the Pullin Optical Companys’ Pulnar 100mm dates from at least 1945 to at least 1961, and was also packaged in a shutter for large format lenses. Versions produced for the British Air Ministry are also seen marked ‘AM 14C/xxxx’ – serials observed from 14C/4624 to 5682. It is similar in concept, but slightly superior to, the Kershaw 250 Series – both designed by Horace W. Lee. DPReview forum member BosunHiggs has an excellent write up of both Pulnar lenses.
