16:9 –
Who forgot to send Braun the memo that projector lenses must have soft corners? Everyone else got it – even Leica. Zeiss definitely acted on it. This one somehow fell through the cracks. Centre-frame (Zone A), it’s acceptably sharp for a projector lens but the Ultralit 90/2.4 delivers Zone C (full frame corners) like a modern prime, albeit with quite strong chromatic aberration.
