16:9 –
Debuting to the export market in March 1983 editions of the photo press, the first Apo-Rodagon 90/4 likely left the factory late in 1982 – four years after the release of Apo-Rodagon 50/2.8. Before the end of 1984, the short-lived ‘Red Ring’ [V2] Apo 90/4 had been repackaged (without optical alterations more significant than coatings) in Rodenstock’s all-black barrel, making this version uncommon. It remained in production until the launch of the significantly upgraded Apo-Rodagon-N 90/4 in 19XX.
