Meopta Meogon 50/5.6
Czech enlarger lens with zebra aperture ring. Meopta recommends f11 for optimal performance. [Cat 392 812 110 311]

The first of the Meogons is a bulletproof little marvel. As an enlarger lens it was only compromised by its speed, and perhaps the finest whisker of centre-frame resolution. However, its remarkably even rendition across a 43mm image circle stands tall in any company, and its EL-Nikkor-like ability to perform equally well at any distance enables it to compete with today’s best taking lenses.
